Stéphane Courbit takes over Château d’Estoublon

Stéphane Courbit is a French entrepreneur, a television producer through his company Banijay Group (Touche pas à mon poste, N’oubliez pas les paroles…), a video game distributor and designer through BelClic Everest Group, and the owner of LOV Hotel Collection, his luxury hotel investment company, which includes Les Airelles à Couchevel, La Bastide de Gordes, and Le Pan Deï in Saint-Tropez.

According to information the October issue of the Revue du Vin de France, it is via this last holding company that Mr. Courbit is preparing to take over the Château d’Estoublon en Provence from Remy and Valérie Reboul-Schneider, former owners of Breitling watches, who will retain 30% of the capital.

Château d’Estoublon is a magnificent property of nearly 105 hectares of olive trees and 19 hectares of vines. It is an ideal location in which to set up a luxury hotel in the heart of Provence.

To help him in this transaction, according to information from V&S News, Mr. Courbit hired Jean-Guillaume Prats, president and CEO of Domaines Barons de Rothschild, as consultant to conduct an audit of the wine sector in order to validate his purchase.
