Luxury group LVMH bought Château Galoupet in Provence

The French luxury group LVMH has undertaken to buy the wine producer Le Château du Galoupet, a cru classé in Provence, for an undisclosed amount, thereby strengthening LVMH’s portfolio of wines and spirits, such as Veuve Clicquot champagne and Cognac Hennessy.

In 2017, LVMH acquired a majority stake in the Colgin Cellars vineyard in Napa Valley, which LVMH boss Bernard Arnault said he wanted to add to its other major wine brands such as Chateau d’Yquem and Château Cheval Blanc.
