In recent years, great international wines have turned to the Bordeaux marketplace, known as La Place de Bordeaux, to optimize their distribution networks.
Luce, the international Italian brand owned by Frescobaldi, has just announced that it has signed commercial agreements with nearly 11 Bordeaux wine merchants to develop its sales in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
The selected wine merchants are among the most important, such as CVBG, Joanne, Duclot, and Veyret-Latour.
In all other markets the wine will continue to be distributed with Luce’s existing partners – such as Waddesdon Wine in the UK.
CEO Giovanni Geddes commented: “We are excited and honoured to partner with the négociants group, since it will enable Luce to achieve greater market penetration and a more geographically extensive reputation. Through our combined efforts and market knowledge, we will launch Luce into a new era.”
