EPI Group has bought a 40% stake in Tardieu-Laurent in France

EPI Group announced the acquisition a 40% stake in French producer Tardieu-Laurent.

EPI, owner of Piper-Heidsieck, Charles Heidsieck, Bondi-Santi in Brunello di Montalcino and Chateau La Verrière in Bordeaux, wants to develop its portfolio in the dynamic Rhône valley region.

The group gains the winemaking experience of Michel and Bastien Tardieu (father and son), and Tardieu-Laurent gains cash flow.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed, but both parties said the deal was mutually beneficial.
