Sting renamed his Message in a Bottle wine as Roxanne.

The famous singer, Sting, produces a range of six wines from a Chianti estate called Il Palagio.

Actually, he produces Message in a Bottle and a flagship Super Tuscan blend, named Sister Moon.

At a tasting in London, where Sting and his wife Trudie Styler presented the portfolio of wines, the singer announced that the blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 10% Syrah, named Message in a Bottle will  be renamed Roxanne only for the North American market following a “trademark issue” for this wine in the US.

Sting added that the newest rosé wine will be launched, produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes from the 2015 vintage named Beppe Rosato (£14.95 in UK retail) about which Trudie Styler declared : “We don’t want our wines to be priced sky-high; we want people to drink them.”
