Champagne Jean MICHEL, a family business that was founded in 1847, will exhibit at Vinexpo Tokyo – stand G24.
The owner, Olivier MICHEL, an independent wine-grower, manages the whole process of Champagne production from the vineyards to the cellars and uses the traditional Champagne method. The House’s Champagne is distributed worldwide.
Champagne Jean MICHEL grows Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; three varietals which develop a great diversity of unique flavours and distinct characteristics according to the vintages. Each of the different cuvées has a unique style. The Non-Vintage Brut is also available as extra-brut (low dosage), they produce a Blanc de Meunier, Blanc de Chardonnay, vintage Cuvées Spéciales, a Rosé and barrel-vinified Champagnes.

Recently Champagne Jean MICHEL has been awarded the HVE certification (High Environmental Value). This recognition has inspired Olivier MICHEL to create a new cuvee called C.E.P. which stands for Champagne à l’Etat Pur (Champagne at its Pure State). This cuvee totally respects nature, the wine and the consumer. It does not contain any added sulfites nor sugar and so offers a pure taste of nature.
Each of the above cuvées will be presented at Champagne Jean MICHEL’s stand at Vinexpo Tokyo.
